Mennu the Betrayer
The Wastewalker Tribe is a tribe of Broken Draenei that reside in the Zangarmarsh of Outland. While formerly a prominent tribe amongst the Broken, the Wastewalker Tribe has become completely enslaved by the Coilfang Naga. The Wastewalkers were among the first Broken Draenei to accept the Farseer Nobundo's message of Shamanism to the Draenei, and quickly began a flourishing shamanistic lifestyle amidst the underground regions of Zangarmarsh. When the Naga came to Outland, the Underbog regions of Zangarmarsh were the first on their list of targets to capture, backing the Wastewalkers into a corner in their own home. Faced with the destruction of their Tribe, the Wastewalkers decided to evacuate and begin anew. However, other Wastewalker tribesmen chose a different path towards their freedom. The Wastewalker Shaman Mennu staged a false escape plan for his tribe, delivering them straight into the hands of the Naga. In exchange for his treachery, Mennu was rewarded by appointing him as slave driver over his own people. Other Wastewalker collaborators would eventually follow in his decision, a decision which Mennu came to regret. Selling out their own people for favoritism.
