"In the Six-Hundred Thirteenth Year of the King's Calendar, the great citadel of Dalaran fell to the merciless Archimonde. As the spires toppled, the Magi of Dalaran fled from their reverent home to the south. The Magi joined with their colleagues in the Mages' Quarter of Stormwind and would later go on to form the Wizard's Sanctum and the impressive Academy of Arcane Arts and Sciences.
The Stormwind Circle rises up as a pillar of virtue of high academic and militant standards; strengthening the eternal bond that Dalaran and Stormwind have created. After the Destruction of Dalaran, and the acceptance of the people of Stormwind, the Circle was established. To this day, the Circle seeks to return the Mage Quarter to its roots as the icon for learning, defense, and community."
The Stormwind Circle is Stormwind's Circle of Arcanists and fellow associates. Tasked with not only educating the citizens of Stormwind about the unknown but also acting as a bulwark to keep the citizenry safe against imposing threats. The Circle is currently lead by Commander Mesenda Dawnfury-Makarov.

Divisions[]
The Stormwind Circle is divided into several different organizations, members of the guild are expected to choose at least one division to ascribe themselves to; though in certain situations they can be in multiple organizations at once.
The Battlemage Corps[]
The Battlemage Corps is made up of several divisions consisting of most of the Magi enlisted into the Stormwind Army. Those who enlist and wish to follow the path of Arcane fall into the Battlemage Corps. These men and women serve as a first defense and offense for the Kingdom of Stormwind against Magical and Foreign threats.
The Tower Guard[]
The Tower Guard is a division of the Stormwind Guard specialized in the regulation and handling of magics in the criminal justice system. The name of this division stems from it's Commander as well as the point of interest in their specialization; the Mage Quarter and it's Wizard Sanctum. Though this division is technically under the Stormwind Guard, they often serve alongside the Battlemage Corps in regards to magical-related threats to the Kingdom of Stormwind.
Academy of Arcane Arts and Sciences[]
The Academy of Arcane Arts and Sciences is a prized icon for the Stormwind Circle. People far and wide travel to Stormwind to attend this academy for the knowledge of the unknown. The Academy hosts many talented scholars and instructors, each individual often have aspirations to educate and prepare the next generation of Arcanists.
