Heavy; Town sacked
Weeks before the battle, the orders that comprised the Bulwark met at Ironforge for their regular meeting. After hours of debating plights and fronts worth attention, they've come to the decision to return to the Andorhal front, lost in the First Battle of Andorhal a few years earlier.
On Monday April 22nd, 31 L.C., the forces of the Bulwark entered the ruined town, setting up their base of operations in the repaired inn. Over the course of the next two weeks, the Alliance forces would fight Forsaken and Blood Elven forces, as well as a detatchment of soldiers from the Kor'kron Guard.
Fortifying their PositionEdit
It wasn't long until the Forsaken noticed the nearby Alliance forces, and battle erupted once more in the town. The combined forces of the Bulwark fought tooth and nail, pushing the undead forces out of the repaired section of the town, reclaiming it for the Alliance. The wounded were being tended to in the inn while those still able to fight prepared for battles to come.
Securing the Felstone FieldEdit
While some of the soldiers remained behind in the town in case the Forsaken came back, a number of the troops went to the Felstone Field, one of the northern-most farms near Andorhal, intending to secure it against the Forsaken. It wasn't long until the Forsaken assaulted them again, bringing more of their elite troops to the front this time. Several Alliance soldiers were wounded during the battle, but they kept fighting valiantly, eventually forcing the Forsaken to retreat.
The Alliance forces planned an attack on the Horde-held section of Andorhal by charging through the town square and through to the main gates. At the square, however, they were attacked by Horde forces, but this time it wasn't the Forsaken: The Kor'kron had been called in, and a detatchment of Blood Elven fighters joined. The Forsaken rained arrows over the Alliance's heads, forcing them to hold their ground at the Town Hall while orcs charged their lines.
After the first initial waves, however, the Kor'kron forces pulled back, a heated discussion between the Orcish commander, the Blood Elven commander and the Forsaken commander at the other side of the field of battle. At the great surprise of almost everyone, by mid-battle they rejoined, but fought their way through the Blood Elves and Forsaken.
This caused a change in the battle. The previously pinned down soldiers pushed through the Horde lines, forcing them back. They had lost some soldiers and had many wounded and were forced to retreat as well, but knowing that the Horde casulties were greater than theirs.
Strangely enough, not a Troll was spotted in the Horde ranks during the battle, the only one of the Horde races to not make an appearance.
On Friday, May 3rd, 33 L.C., Bulwark forces washed over the Horde potion of Andorhal. After a long and bloody battle, the Alliance forces present were successful in retaking the majority of the city, but the Horde succeeded in saving the men left in the city the Forsaken controlled portion, which had been sacked during the battle resulting in an Alliance victory.
Half of the city as well as a great portion of the ruined districts remained in Alliance hands, pending rebuilding, while the Forsaken in Andorhal garrisoned into the shattered area in order to prevent their final hold from being lost. Bulwark forces remained in the region until the organization was decommissioned after having expended most of its resources on the capture of Andorhal. As a result, Andorhal was abandoned once more and the Forsaken have presumably retaken the entire city.
