Scarlet is the wolf puppy adopted by the Daggerfang Family in Stormwind. She is of a Northern Gilnean-Silverpine wolf breed that was commonly found throughout the woods during the calmer years of the regions, though now populations have significantly declined.
Scarlet was introduced into the family by Ranets Daggerfang, who is the head of the family, after he found the puppy in a small alcove near the Greymane Wall during an inspection of military efforts in the Forrest. Originally, Ranets had no interest in the pup, but his wife, Felari convinced him otherwise, she taking quite a liking to the puppy.
Scarlet is currently only less then a year old and is strikingly attached to the Admiral. Medical officers have recently been encouraging the man to spend more time with her in the hopes that she may help with his Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
She's soon due to celebrate what is believed to be her first birthday.
