The Redrock Fleet (also known as the Ninth Fleet) of the Stormwind Navy is a large fleet assigned to the Duchy of Redrock of the Kingdom of Stormwind. Larger than most fleets due to the size of the feudal province it protects, the Ninth Fleet is considered a large benefactor to the Stormwind and greater Grand Alliance naval effort.
History[]
The Redrock Fleet has been known by that name since the Duchy of Redrock's time in the Empire of Arathor; being one of Arathor's most prominent naval units.
It was all until the War for Stormwind's Independence when tides for the fleet changed; as the greater duchy sided with the Kingdom of Azeroth. Even though the majority of the war was at land, the fleet helped secure the borders at sea for the kingdom so that in the end the war would be won.

The fleet's surface force takes use of Lion-class ships-of-the-line as heavy first rates, Gryphon-class destroyers, Eagle-class carriers, and Strider-class corvettes, while the fleet's submarine force takes use of the Khaz Modan-class battle submarines, and the airborne force uses Victory-class gunships and the smaller, deployable Minibird-class gyrocopters and Bronzehawk-class biplanes.
