The Post-Cataclysm Battle for Surwich was an attempt by the Dominion of the Sun in May of 31 L.C. to sieze the human town of Surwich in the Blasted Lands for its tactical proximity to the Dark Portal. The First Regiment of the Stormwind Army intervened and led the defense as the blood elves attacked, saving the town, but not before most of Surwich's structures were razed to the ground.
