The Misty Shore is a region within the realm of Alterac, located along the northernmost borders of the Kingdom of Alterac and the Southern edge of the Lordamere Lake. This is a predominantly agrarian region, however most known for its fishing market and communities of fishermen.

Recently, civilians have relocated to the Misty Shore and have begun irrigating the shoreline for grain production. While some believe the Lake to be polluted or infested as consequence of the Scourge and the blight-concoctions of the Royal Apothecary Society, the Southern Coast is nearly untouched---however delicate an ecosystem, due to the high demand for fish and the relatively-small area of clean fishing.
