Dun Dui Ri, is a castle that is situated in the foothills of the Hilim Mountains, in the northeastern part of the Province of Cre'n Fa'earn, in the Principality of Fjallidh, in Alterac. The castle is twenty seven kilometers away from Dun Dyr, and thirty three kilometers away from Dyr's Wall. Through out the history of the principality, Dun Dui Ri has served as an important passageway between the Province of Cre'n Fa'earn, and the Province of Ruis, and still does to this day.
The Castle[]
Dun Dui Ri, is built in architectural styles similar to those of the rest of Alterac. Travellers wishing to go Noredh in the Province of Ruis, often travel through Dun Dui Ri, through an underground pass.
The castle's gate house is located in the southern section of Dun Duir Ri. Near the gate house is the barracks, which can house two hundred men, and has a prison underneath it that connects to the underground pass, and can hold a maximum of twenty five men. On the northern section of the castle is the keep, which houses the Steward of the Castle, and consist of two bedrooms, a servant's quarters, a small study and library, a kitchen and a storehouse. One the western side of the castle there is a chapel and a pagan alter.
