The Duchy of Highshore is a coastal estate within the Kingdom of Stormwind. Highshore is on the south-western shores of the province of Westfall and is also comprised of flatlands, foothills, and even some mountains in the southern region of the Duchy. The House of Haltring has ruled the Duchy for quite sometime, initially they were lesser lords within Westfall before being elevated to the ducal status they now hold.
Along with Highshore's high production of wheat and other grains, the House of Haltring fields a rather large naval presence within the Stormwind Navy and is a large contributor to the fleets, primarily the Seventh Fleet known as the Westfall Fleet. The head of the House of Haltring is in command of some of the best ships within the Kingdom of Stormwind and serves the interests of the crown diligently and with the utmost loyalty.
