In Character (IC or ICly)[]
In Character (IC) is a term meaning that the Character or Player one is pointing to, is In Character, meaning all actions this player does shall be considered done by his/her Character, unless Ret Conned (See Below).
Out of Character (OOC or OOCly)[]
Out of Character (OOC) is a term meaning that Character or Playing one is pointing to, is Out of Character, meaning all actions this player does shall not be considered done in the In Character Environment.
Retcon (RC)[]
Retconning (Retroactive Continuity) is a term used to delete past history, dialogue, or actions in an In Character Environment. This is commonly used lightly when an OOC misunderstanding affects IC dialogue and must be changed to make sense, or other reasons. Heavy Ret Conning sometimes can be changing names (Not Progressively IC), changing history, or sometimes looks of a Character, or other storyline.
