The Barony of Knight's Blackpoint's history is one that is quite small and uneventful. Originally given to Tanaarch Broderick for his role in taking the independant village, it was seized forcefully by the Kingdom of Gilneas because of his failure to maintain it. Buying it back years later, Tanaarch attempted lazily to develop the land, and eventually gave up on the project. Before the Kingdom of Gilneas could once again fine him and seize it back, the Worgen Curse broke out; thus it remains in his hands.

Building/Settlements[]

There are two settlements within barony, Byhill and Knight's Blackpoint. The two were built side-by-side, and some consider them the same settlement. Byhill was once a bustling town, but came to a bitter end and was all but destroyed. Those that remained in the area built a small village overlapping the decrepit ruins, renaming the area Knight's Blackpoint. Throughout the centuries the population dwindled down to less than two hundred residents.

Knight's Blackpoint[]

There are thirteen residencial houses within the village, some centuries older than others. No commercial buildings exist within the town, essentially because Byhill is interlocked with the small village.

Byhill[]

Byhill was home to almost seventy buildings in its time, but the majority of them were destroyed in the Battle of Lord's Greed in 46 K.C. The small Hollowforge Inn barely stands, but is the closest thing the town has to an inn. The aged Bradshaw Mill is falling apart, but is the only working industry that keeps the village running.

Threats[]

The numerous spiders of the Blackwald are a constant threat to the village's safety, though throughout the centuries many reports of immunity to the painful venom have been reported. Surrounding settlements have often despised the village, and while they have no standing militia or anything of the sort, the townspeople know the Blackwald better than anyone could ever hope to.
