A response, written in a trembling hand, to the Rockvale Succession and Legitimacy Act from Mother Kateryn Wyllinds.
'To Those Whom Care,
By the Light's grace alone I have the strength to respond to such allegations. May the Light strip me of all of my blessings that they should be true. But what has been written has been written, and there are those that would believe whether I am on my knees, pleading my innocence, but I must say it:
Cade Wyllinds, formerly named Cade Stromheart, was conceived just before the Fall of the year 30 (2013, correct if my OOC knowledge of timeline is incorrect), with none other than Tenevus Stromheart in the duchy of Rockvale. He is of Tenevus' blood, whether he be considered successor or otherwise. The child is not, and should never be, considered a bastard, as he was conceived and birthed within Rockvale's walls.
The second born, due this Winter, was conceived amidst the previous Winter's end, long before Tenevus Stromheart was called to the Crusades in Shattrath, which took place that Spring. I was also in attendance, as can be confirmed by other crusaders present. I removed myself before the end of the Crusades because I began to exhibit the symptoms accompanied by pregnancy. This child, too, blessed by the Light, came by no one other than Tenevus Stromheart. The third allegation within the Legitimacy Act is nothing short of fallacy, given these facts.
Another thought must be considered: I am now, confirmed by healers of the faith, within at least my fifth month. How is it possible that could be if I had conceived in the Spring, as this document claims, when I am forced to write this now, not three months after the Crusades are completed? The only time I was confronted with these claims of my unfaithfulness was to be accused. I was given no chance to defend my honor, and now it will be sullied no matter what I say or do.

My heart is heavy that this is how it should be, but the Light will see these children rise above such defamation. They are legitimate, even if they are no longer considered of Rockvale. They are loved. Never will they seek Rockvale's titles or resources. May the Light grant us all the clarity to see right and wrong, to overcome hate and scorn, and to find the love that was, once.
